Job Summary

The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for the entire design process, from conceptualization and wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping and final visual design. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate user needs and business requirements into seamless and effective user interfaces and experiences across various digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and identify user needs.
• Create user personas, user journey maps, and site maps to visualize and understand user flows.
• Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and user flows.
• Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces (UIs) that align with brand guidelines and enhance user engagement.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders, user testing, and data analysis.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure the accurate implementation of UI designs and a consistent user experience.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant certifications in UI/UX design or related fields are a plus.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience as a UI/UX Designer, Product Designer, or similar role.
• Proven track record of designing and shipping successful digital products.
• Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
• Portfolio showcasing a strong understanding of user-centered design, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.

Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, etc.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
• Excellent understanding of usability heuristics and accessibility standards.
• Ability to translate complex ideas into simple, intuitive, and user-friendly designs.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing design challenges.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is beneficial.
