As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and scaling the core infrastructure that powers our platform. You will be responsible for building high-performance services that handle millions of requests while ensuring our system remains resilient, secure, and developer-friendly.

You will work closely with our product and design teams to translate complex business requirements into elegant, scalable technical solutions. Your contribution will directly influence our architectural roadmap, helping us transition toward a more modular microservices environment while maintaining the highest standards of code quality and system reliability.

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development with Python or Go

• Proven expertise in designing and maintaining distributed systems at scale

• Strong proficiency with PostgreSQL, Redis, and message broker technologies

• Experience building and securing RESTful and gRPC APIs

• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS or GCP

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in an agile environment

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable microservices to support new product features

• Optimize application performance and database queries to ensure low latency

• Lead code reviews to maintain high engineering standards and mentor junior team members

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define technical specifications and project timelines

• Identify and resolve complex production bottlenecks and system-wide issues
