We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying scalable and resilient distributed systems that form the backbone of our innovative platform. You will tackle complex technical challenges, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor junior engineers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, performant solutions.

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Python and/or Go

• Proven experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems

• Deep understanding of distributed systems concepts such as consensus, fault tolerance, and eventual consistency

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable distributed systems using Python and/or Go

• Collaborate with product managers and other engineering teams to define system requirements and architecture

• Implement and optimize performance-critical services

• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and uphold high code quality standards

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the engineering team
