Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for new and existing software applications.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, security, and usability testing.
• Identify, document, and prioritize defects with clear, concise, and reproducible bug reports.
• Collaborate with software developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure testability.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
• Automate testing processes where applicable to increase efficiency and coverage.
• Conduct root cause analysis of identified issues and recommend solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Foundation Level are a plus.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Quality Assurance or a related software testing role.
• Proven experience in developing and executing manual test cases.
• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman) is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).

Skills and Competencies

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in writing clear and concise test documentation.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Familiarity with API testing and related tools.
• Basic understanding of SQL and database concepts.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
