Database Administrator

As a Database Administrator, you will be the guardian of our organization's most critical asset: its data. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Proven mastery of SQL and experience with multiple Database Management Systems (DBMS) such as MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft Azure

• Demonstrated expertise in implementing and managing robust backup and disaster recovery strategies

• Strong understanding of database security principles and best practices, with a track record of safeguarding sensitive data

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex database issues efficiently

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain database software and related products

• Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to ensure high availability and responsiveness

• Design, implement, and test comprehensive backup and disaster recovery plans to protect against data loss

• Implement and enforce security measures to protect databases from unauthorized access, corruption, and breaches

• Manage database schemas, tables, indexes, and stored procedures

• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents and problems in a timely manner
