Job Summary

As the Tech Lead for the ASTRNT Portal, a flagship Community Project, you will be responsible for steering the technical vision and managing the development lifecycle of our platform. We are looking for a visionary leader who can balance hands-on coding with high-level architectural decision-making to empower our community of contributors and deliver high-impact digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Define and maintain the technical architecture and technology stack for the ASTRNT Portal.
Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to a diverse team of volunteer developers.
Oversee the end-to-end development process, from feature ideation to deployment.
Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure performance, security, and scalability benchmarks are met.
Collaborate with product owners and community managers to translate community needs into technical requirements.
Manage the project's GitHub repository, CI/CD pipelines, and hosting infrastructure.
Drive the adoption of best practices in software engineering and technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proficiency in Full-stack development (e.g., React, Node.js, and modern database management).
Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud services.
Familiarity with modern DevOps tools and version control systems.

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.
At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or senior engineering role.
Proven track record of contributing to or leading open-source or community-driven software initiatives.
