Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior UI/UX Designer to join our team on a freelance basis. You will work closely with our product and development teams to translate user needs and business requirements into intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces and experiences for our digital products.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior designers and stakeholders to understand project goals and user requirements.
• Assist in creating wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to visualize design concepts.
• Design visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that adhere to brand guidelines and best practices.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback, testing results, and evolving project needs.
• Prepare design assets and specifications for developers, ensuring smooth implementation.
• Stay updated on the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies to bring fresh ideas to the team.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our design system and processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• A strong understanding of fundamental UI/UX design principles and methodologies.
• No specific certifications are mandatory, but a foundational understanding of design principles is key.

Experience Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience in UI/UX design, internships, personal projects, or bootcamps will be considered.
• Demonstrated ability to create design artifacts such as wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• A portfolio showcasing relevant UI/UX design projects is highly recommended.

Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Basic understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Strong visual design skills with an eye for detail, typography, color, and layout.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to receive and incorporate constructive feedback.
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to learning.
• Familiarity with design systems is a plus.
